Jim Fram has been appointed to the Accredited Economic Development Organization Advisory Committee by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). Fram, who transitioned from President and CEO of the Hot Springs Metro Partnership to Special Project Manager is remaining with Partnership staff through the end of 2017.

“I am honored with this appointment as it fits well with my future plans to help other community’s economic development organizations achieve higher success,” said Fram.

In this role, Fram and members of the AEDO committee will be responsible for reviewing applications to ensure all requirements are met along with site visits as a final step in accrediting an economic development organization. Fram has served in senior management capacity for economic development organizations in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Nebraska for the past 33 years and recently led the Hot Springs Metro Partnership to become the first and only accredited economic development organization (AEDO) in the state of Arkansas.

The Hot Springs Metro Partnership is the area’s public/private economic development organization, serving all of Garland County.
